Our Body Is Evolving... But In What Direction?
Today I read a hand written note (in our refrigerator) that said "Discipline is the difference between choosing what you want NOW and what you want the MOST". Nowhere does this saying ring more true that when we are talking about fitness, health and wellness. Every day we make decisions about the kind of food we feed our body and our activity level (or lack of it) without full awareness of the long-term consequences of these decisions. Sadly, it is usually not until it is too late and the damage is beyond repair that our mind can comprehend the gravity of the situation. These decisions ADD UP! Each day we are aging and our body is evolving but the important question is: In what direction? The choices you make daily are either fighting disease or feeding it. So my question to for you is... what are you doing TODAY?
