Garlic Parmesan Roasted Broccoli
1 Head of Broccoli
5 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
3-4 T Olive Oil
1/2 t Kosher Salt
½ t Ground Pepper
1 T Lemon Juice
¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese
Optional: Dash of red pepper flakes
Preheat Oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil.
Wash the broccoli and cut florets into bite-sized pieces. Dry the broccoli by patting with a dry paper towel (this will help it to roast) and transfer to a medium sized bowl.
Mince 5 cloves of garlic and toss it in with broccoli. Pour Olive oil, salt and pepper (optional: red pepper flakes) into broccoli and toss well.
Spread broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes and flip the broccoli and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes (watching carefully not to burn).
Garnish with lemon juice and real shaved Parmesan cheese. For different flavors add red pepper flakes for a Spicer version or drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar. ENJOY!
