Strawberry Cheesecake Protein Smoothie

July 26, 2016

I can't believe this not an actual piece of strawberry cheesecake thrown in the blender!!  I love this recipe because you could give it to anyone and they would never know it is a protein shake.  My biggest tip on this one is DO NOT SKIP the cottage cheese (yes even if you can’t taste the cottage cheese)!!  You cannot taste the cottage cheese but it makes all the difference in the texture to make this as creamy and delicious as your favorite milkshake.  You're Welcome!!

Ingredients

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

1 TB Sugar Free Cheese Cake Instant Pudding Mix

1 tsp sugar free strawberry Jell-O mix OR 5 fresh strawberries

1/2 cup cottage cheese (Sounds Weird but TRUST ME it is a game changer in this shake!)

1 cup Almond Milk

2 Egg White (optional but will improve texture and taste!)

5 Ice Cubes

Splenda (Optional as desired)

1/2 Graham Cracker (topping if desired

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender (except graham cracker).  The liquid should just cover the ice.

  2. Blend on high for one minute.   Add milk if needed to thin the shake and Splenda to sweeten.

  3. Optional: Crumble 1/2 graham cracker and stir gently into shake.  ENJOY!
