The Beloved Blender

The blender is our favorite kitchen appliance that creates everything from protein shakes, sauces and soups.   The Vitamix Creations ($399 on QVC) I is the top of the line but also the priciest.  There are many other options for around 100 dollars that perform well and make excellent presents!

Pressure Cooker & Cook Book

There are many advantages of using a pressure cooker for food preparation that make it the perfect gift for the health conscious.  Pressure-cooking cuts down on cooking time and helps food to retain the nutritional value.  Not to mention you can “set it and forget it” and there is literally no cleanup!   Interested?  Check out Instant Pot IP-DUO60 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker 6Qt/1000W ($125) on Amazon.  I would also suggest adding Great Food Fast (Best of the Best Presents) Bob Warden's Ultimate Pressure Cooker Recipes ($18).

Spices and Spice Rack

Many people equate health eating to bland or boring foods… WRONG!  One of the easiest ways to add flavor to your foods is to learn to incorporate a variety of spices into your cooking.    Our favorite is the Olde Thompson Orbit Spice Rack ($40.29 at Target).  Spice racks can make the perfect gift for someone who is interested in spicing it up in the kitchen!

Weight Lifting Gloves

Ladies…. Think the only benefit of weight training is to “get big?” Think Again.   THIS IS PLAIN WRONG! More and more women are discovering the benefits of weight training including accelerated weight loss, increased caloric burn and curves!  But no lady wants the wear and tear on her hands.   Treat your special someone to some gloves to protect those pretty hands!  Try These: Harbinger 149 Women's Pro Wash & Dry Weight Lifting Gloves ($7-$20) at Amazon.com.  These come in pink and black or gray and black.  They hold up extremely well and they are machine washable!

Multi-Vitamin Packs

At a minimum each of us should be taking a multivitamin to supplement our nutrition.  The type of multi-vitamin may vary but the most effective won’t be a single pill… they will come in packs.  Try These: Super Vitamin Pack (by ISS Research, ($18.99 at Amazon) or Animal Pak for Universal Nutrition ($25.64 on Amazon) if you are weight training on a regular basis.
