I Will Not Let RA Control My Life!

May 16, 2017

" Awesome video...lots of people have said I was crazy for wanting to do these races, but there is so much more behind it for me.  I was diagnosed at 27 with moderate too severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I could hardly get out of bed much less walk because I was in so much pain. It has been a LONGGGG journey for me to get to where I am today and with the guidance and healthy eating that JT Thompson has taught my over the part 10 months my RA has changed. I just had an appointment with my rheumatologist about 2 months ago and he took me of a medication that I have taken everyday for the part 5 years and said that I had no active inflammation and that I was moved down to mild RA ( Which I have never been). Eating clean and working out had changed my life for the better. It is not easy AT ALL because most days I don't want to do either. On April 8th, 2017 I completed my 1st Spartan race 5.5 miles and 22 obstacles and will soon be doing a Super in October and the beast in December. I will not let my RA control my life!! AROO AROO AROO" - Tiffany Batyski
